How I Learned To Fancy Horse Games

April 22nd, 2011

I have stopped playing video games or any online games after my college years. Recently, I have watched with my boyfriend Show Jumping or equestrian jumping. It was very graceful and sophisticated. Just like my boyfriend who’s a young, refined, and sophisticated man. He is fond of horses and the mentioned sport. Me on the other hand have no history in my family of horse lovers or being familiar with the what abouts of this kind of sport. He always tells me not to worry since I can just learn from him or online. You see, this is the only thing that we don’t have in common, the rest is just fine. I wanted to put effort into this because he loves it so much. In my part, I have started to love it as well. His love for it just have convinced me to get hooked with it as well. So I made an effort of looking for games online. I have found one and I so far like it. The name of the game is “Show Jumping.”

The game mechanics I have copied from the game so you can see it:

“Show jumping is a form of competition in which horses are jumped over a course of fences, low walls, and other obstacles. The purpose is to jump cleanly over a twisting course within a time allowed. Obstacles should be taken according to their number. The number at an obstacle shows which side of the obstacle the horse should jump from. For every unclear jump a rides is incurred 4 fault points. Every second passed after the time is over adds 1 fault points to the score.”

Kudos to the maker of this game! My boyfriend and I get to see each other more and play this together. If you’d like to try it out, here’s the link to the game – http://www.gamesfreak.net/games/Show-Jumping_34.html
